administration

It's been said that it takes a village to do a lot of things, and Smyrna Christian School (SCS) is no exception.  Like a well-oiled machine, SCS is made up of hard-working folks who come together to bring quality childcare to our community.  Thanks to the combined experience and Christian values of all of our staff, SCS is the best Christian preschool in the Smyrna area.  Because of our hard-working and spiritually-minded staff, we are able to offer low student/teacher ratios, top-notch childcare, quality education, and a foundation built on God's principles.

assistant director

Jodi Cooper

With over ten years experience in the classroom and as an aide, Ms. Jodi is a valuable asset to our SCS community.  She loves working here because of the christian values, and she enjoys serving God by teaching and helping children grow in His way.  When she is away from our school, Ms. Jodi gets to spend time with her own three children and husband of over 20 years.

director of programs

Robin williams

Having earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1989, Ms. Robin has had over twenty years of experience working with young people as a teacher, tutor, educational assistant, nanny, bible class teacher, camp counselor, and the assistant director at SCS.  She has also worked in customer service and enjoys being around people, both adults and children.  The two best things about working at SCS, she says, is getting to greet every single child who walks through the door each morning and working with a staff of believers in Christ.

director 2-day program

nina foutch

Ms. Nina has spent many years working at Smyrna Christian School.  She is now in her fifteenth year as the director of the 2-Day Program. Both of her daughters have attended Harding University, and she appreciates the benefits of attending a Christian school.  Ms. Nina likes working at SCS because she gets to watch the children grow both physically and emotionally. The children and their parents become like family to us as we laugh and cry together watching the kids reach milestones and then graduate and move on to kindergarten.
