At age 12, Ms. Sarah began taking care of children, and she hasn't stopped yet. She has been a tutor, worked in after-school care, studied early childhood education, been a full-time nanny, taught preschool, and is currently raising her own children. She enjoys working at SCS because she is able to teach children about God beginning at a very young age.

From church nursery to camp counselor to fostering kids to other daycare settings, Ms. Andrea has had many years of experience in childcare. She loves being able to work with children in a christian environment. It's such a joy watching young ones learning how to play with others, learning their ABCs, counting numbers, and finding out about how Jesus loves them. She feels blessed to be a part of this process.

After her many years of experience teaching young children, Ms. Betty still learns much from them. They are so honest with their thoughts, and they speak words of wisdom daily. Their brains are like sponges, so they keep Ms. Betty on her toes.
Ms. Heather has worked with kids since she a s child herself by mentoring and teaching younger children. She has a Master's Degree in Social Work and has spent many years in the preschool setting serving kids. She has three children who have all attended SCS, so she appreciates the christian environment. She thanks God for each day that she gets to spend with children and the blessing they are in our lives.
After Ms. Carey sent her triplets to SCS for their pre-k year, she knew that one day she would like to work for the school. Now that the girls are twelve years old, she has finally gotten that opportunity. She has loved being a stay-at-home mom, but is thrilled to finally be working her dream job of participating in the growth and development of young minds while being in a christian environment.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Ms. Holly is a great addition to the SCS family. She and her husband have two children here at the school, so obviously Ms. Holly has a tremendous amount of respect for the program. It warms her heart to share the love of Christ with every child who attends, and she truly cares about the parents and staff as well.
Ms. Karen has many years of teaching experience. She enjoys working in a loving and safe environment where she can teach a christian-based curriculum. She loves seeing families of the children she teaches become friends.
Ms Andrea came to the 2-day program after she began teaching music for the 5-day side. She appreciates being able to work where she can care for young children while her own children are at school themselves. Things are never dull teaching preschool and she particularly loves the kids and how they can always manage to make her laugh.
Ms. Nina has spent many years working at Smyrna Christian School. She is now in her thirteenth year as the director of the 2-Day Program. Both of her daughters have attended Harding University, and she appreciates the benefits of attending a Christian school. Ms. Nina likes working at SCS because she gets to watch the children grow both physically and emotionally. The children and their parents become like family to us as we laugh and cry together watching the kids reach milestones and then graduate and move on to kindergarten.
I've worked as a preschool teacher for seventeen yrs and love watching the children grow and learn in a Christian environment. My son and daughter attended preschool here and learned so much and loved their teachers!!!! Smyrna Christian School has been in the business of teaching children for over forty years and that says alot about this school. I really enjoy working here and have been blessed with amazing coworkers that I'm proud to call my friends.
We have some hard-working and enthusiastic workers in our 2-day program. Many of them have been working at SCS for years, and they bring a vast amount of expertise to the table when it comes to preschool. They are all Christian women who love God and desire to let His light shine when caring for the children who come through our doors each week.
